Hey there, Wendy. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Next weekend is going to be so much fun. My daughter's team is actually going to be competing as well and I am really looking forward to it.
Here at planDisney we are a group of moms, dads, aunts, grandparents and even puppy parents that love to share our knowledge about planning a Walt Disney World vacation and picking the best restaurants to eat at. The cheerleading competition put on by an outside company is a little out of our wheelhouse. However, I do have some information that you might find helpful!
A few weeks ago I learned that Varsity has worked with Disney to open up some more
park pass reservations for the girls competing at The Summit. To secure one of these park pass reservations what you'll need to do is have the
MyDisneyExperience app downloaded on your smartphone. Next, open up the app and select the chat feature. In the message box type the code word "VARSITY" to get connected with a Cast Member that has the information to help you. They will let you know what is available from the parks that were opened back to the participants of the competition. Hopefully, they will be able to secure a spot for your daughter at Magic Kingdom Park.
If the Cast Member is able to secure her a spot at a different park, I would go ahead and take it. She can always park hop over to Magic Kingdom Park starting at 2:00 p.m. on the day her friends will be there. I hope this all works out for your daughter, Wendy. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to
reach back out to me. I'm here to help. Have fun and good luck!
