My daughter and I are coming in June and my boyfriend is living in Florida now for his job he cannot attend the parks during the day because of work but wanted to join us for dinner how can we make this work? we will be staying at the music resort thanks

    Hi Lisa,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am guessing from your question that you want to plan a dinner for the three of you outside of the theme parks so that no park admission is needed for your boyfriend. There are a great many options for dining outside the theme parks. You can choose just about any cuisine, price range, or type of dining experience.

My first suggestion is to meet up for dinner at Disney Springs. There are so many great dining options that it’s hard to choose which ones to mention. Paddlefish, Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' and The Boathouse are each personal favorites. And there is much to see and do both before dinner and after.

Disney's BoardWalk is another great spot for fun, flavorful dining outside of the theme parks. Trattoria al Forno is a favorite.

You can dine at any of the wonderful restaurants located in a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel close to the theme parks. California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort, 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort, and Citricos at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are just a few of the fine options near Magic Kingdom Park.

    Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
