My daughter and i are coming to the Coranado Springs resort in December for her sixth birthday. Her Grandmother and uncle are meeting us there but have different reservations and arrive later.. Is there a way to guarantee we have adjoining rooms?

    Hi Barry,

You've picked a great resort. My family and I stay at Coronado Springs often, including a stay last month. We find it relaxing and convenient to all the theme parks and Disney Springs.

There are no guarantees whenever you make a special request at a Walt Disney World resort, but I've always found that the resorts do everything possible to grant the requests. I recommend that both you and your relatives do online check-in and note your request at that time. In addition, it would also be helpful if you visit the resort desk when you arrive and let them know when your relatives are arriving and reiterate your wishes for an adjoining room.

Even if that turns out not to be possible, at least they should be able to get you in close proximity.

When you visit the desk, make sure you ask for a free birthday button for your daughter. When she wears it during your stay, she will get lots of well wishes from cast members and other guests. Occasionally, those celebrating birthdays also receive some special surprises.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Barry. Please let us know if you have any other last-minute questions. Wishing your daughter a magical birthday celebration!
