my daughter is 17 so is a child for dining plan but she does not need to order off the kids menu correct?

    Hi, Travis!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am glad you stopped by with your question!

While we still see our kids as "kids" forever and ever, they officially become adults once they are age 10 at Walt Disney World. Once they are 10, they require an adult theme park ticket and are also considered an adult on the Disney Dining Plan. Kids ages 3 - 9 are in the "child" price category, and kids under the age of 3 do not require a park ticket and therefore do not qualify for the Disney Dining Plan.

You can safely tell your teenage daughter that she does not have to order off the kids menu. But hey, let's face it, sometimes chicken fingers and fries just sounds really, really good!

Wishing your entire family a magical stay in Walt Disney World!

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
