My daughter is checking into the Pixar Place hotel with my credit card, but has her ID which has a different name? Can I pay for check in over the phone?

    Hi Darien!

We love helping fellow Guests plan their visits to the Happiest Place on Earth, and it looks like you are planning a magical trip of your own for your daughter! Sometimes gifting the magic is just as special as being in the magic yourself.

She is going to love staying on property at Pixar Place and being immersed in all the stories we know and love. Before we get into all the perks of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, let's take a look at your question as I'm sure you are eager to get the plans in place ahead of her arrival next week. Since the name on the reservation will differ from the credit card on file, I spoke with a Cast Member who confirmed that you will need to call the Walt Disney Travel Company to document the form of payment on the account. This is easily done by calling (714) 520-7059 where the Cast Members are available 7 days a week from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM PST. They will also be able to answer any specific questions you may have related to billing and the reservation itself.

When your daughter checks in, be sure to have her ask for a list of resort activities. The parks and resorts are celebrating Lunar New Year through February 16th and Black History Month with Celebrate Soulfully activities through the end of February. What I love most about staying on property is that the magic extends from the parks all the way back to your room, and you can often find something special happening right in the lobby of your resort. She'll also want to take a look at the Park Hours as she will have access to Early Entry - 30 magical minutes in either Disneyland Park or California Adventure before park opening. Only one park per day offers this perk, so I always like to make note of this when planning out my visit. The calendar will show you the park offering Early Entry and what time it begins on each day. As I like to say, it's 30 more minutes to create more unforgettable memories!

Darien, I hope this was helpful! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney.

    Magic awaits!
