My daughter will be 9 at check in and will have her birthday while there. I am getting mixed answers on this, would her birthday at check in be honored through out our stay?

    Hi Nicole!

You are planning a magical trip to Walt Disney World Resort with your family and it's going to be even more special since your daughter will be celebrating a birthday during your vacation! Be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday button for her to wear during your trip so Cast Members and other Guests can join in the celebration.

Guests don't age during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, which means that your daughter's age at the start of your trip will be considered her age for the duration of your visit. So if she will be 9 years old when your vacation begins, she can use an Age 3-9 ticket for your entire vacation (which means you will save a little bit of extra money that can go towards extra souvenEARs and Dole Whips)!

Nicole, the Disney Imagineers are always bringing new things to the theme parks for Guests to enjoy during their vacations, so I recommend that you follow the Disney Parks Blog as you continue planning for the latest news and announcements. Also, feel free to come back to see us if you have additional questions we can help you with!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
