My daughter has celiacs so her food can not contain gluten and also can not be cross contaminated with gluten. How difficult will selecting a dining plan be?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lauren!

Walt Disney World Resort does a fantastic job taking care of Guests with Special Dietary Restrictions. Although my family’s favorite food group seems to be gluten, my daughter does have a severe nut allergy and we have been very impressed with the overall care we have received. We often have the option of discussing her menu options with chefs at Table Service Restaurants, and there are now many Quick-Service locations that offer an “allergy menu” upon request. My friend and fellow panelist, Stacy is also a gluten-free eater and recently answered a Guest with similar concerns to yours. Stacy also gives a few excellent recommendations in her answer, so I definitely recommend taking a moment to check it out!

Don’t forget that you can start making your Advanced Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance either online or by calling Disney Dining. In addition, I highly recommend visiting the Special Dietary Request page for additional details.

Have a magical vacation and bon appétit!
