I have a daughter who has celiacs and we're going to Disneyland next week. Just curious how friendly Disney is with gluten free meals and snacks?

Hi, Jessica! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am super excited that you will be visiting the Happiest Place on Earth soon! You'll be glad to know that the Disneyland Resort is extremely accommodating to those with dietary restrictions. Many quick service and table service dining locations offer allergy-friendly menus and can make adjustments to certain meals to meet your needs. I have traveled to the Disney Parks many times with my sister-in-law who eats a gluten-free diet and she was always able to enjoy every meal to the fullest!

When making dining reservations, you are able to indicate your dietary preferences on your reservation. You can also speak to a Cast Member when you arrive at the restaurant who will alert the wait and kitchen staff about your needs. Further, a chef may come out and speak to you personally to discuss which items on the menu would be appropriate for your daughter. In short, you should have no problem at all finding tasty meals and snacks for your daughter while you are in the parks!

I hope you and your daughter have a magnificent time at the Disneyland Resort!
