    My daughter will be celebrating her Quienceanera during out trip to Disney in August and she will be dressed in her ball gown. I made reservations for about 20 people for the illuminations dinner and desert reception but now I am having second thoughts

    Hi, Lisa!   It sounds like you have a lovely celebration planned for your daughter!   

    I think your question got cut off, so I am not really sure why you are having second thoughts, but let me give you my opinions based on what I am reading  . . .  your daughter might feel like a Princess being in Epcot in her ball gown!   Every girl wants to be a princess, and what better way than being in WDW!  If you think she would be more comfortable in a different outfit, perhaps she could change to a less formal outfit between events.   Maybe a cute summer dress with a flashy tiara would be adorable!

    I had the opportunity to attend an Illuminations Desert Reception and it is fabulous!    You get  a wonderful viewing location, delicious food, and of course the show is amazing.    But this is your family's special celebration, so do what you feel comfortable with.   Speak with your event planner and let him/her know of any concerns so they can make this night magical for you and your very lucky daughter.   Good luck with your celebration and congratulations to your daughter!
