Hi my daughter will be celebrating her 3rd birthday whilst we are in WDW in November. I have booked chef mickeys. Do you think they would add a extra surprise for her? Or is this something we are to do? I can't wait to come back.

    Hi Nicola!

Walt Disney World is my favorite place to celebrate a birthday!  We book dinner at Chef Mickey's every year for a combined birthday meal for my kids.  In the past, Chef Mickey's has provided my kids with a special birthday cupcake and the characters acknowledge their birthdays when they come around to visit.  We have made a tradition out of ordering a custom specialty cake for the past several years.  Guests can pick the flavor of cake, filling and character/theme of the cake and it will be brought out and served right to your table.  There is an additional charge for this and the price is dependent on what you choose.  Every cake we have ordered has been gorgeous and delicious!  If you have leftovers, which we always do, you can take it back to your Disney Resort hotel with you to munch on later.

Be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday button for your birthday girl to wear throughout your vacation!  My kids love hearing "Happy Birthday!" from various Cast Members and other Guests.

    Have a magical day!
