My daughter will be celebrating her 11th b-day when we're in WDW. We've made reservation @ Rainforest Cafe. I'm thinking of ordering the Sparkling Volcano for her "b-day cake" . Do they serve it with the sparkler on top and will they B-day if asked

    Hi Marlene,

My kids are huge fans of the Rainforest Cafe.  I think it's a perfect, festive venue for a birthday celebration.  We often end our meal here by ordering a "Volcano."  This treat is large enough to serve four to five people, and includes several brownie wedges stacked next to each other to form the volcano, filled with vanilla ice cream, and topped with gooey caramel, chocolate sauce and a whipped-topping.  The "sparkler" is simply a long stick with some metallic streamers hanging from it.   It is placed on top of the tower of goodness, and is intended to give the impression that your mountain of dessert is exploding.  The servers are happy to sing Happy Birthday if you ask them to, and are likely to make your daughter feel extra special by encouraging the entire restaurant to sing along.

I hope your family has a magical trip, and that your daughter has a wonderful birthday!
