My daughter cannot seem to access our tickets which are on my account. I accepted her invitation to link accounts but she can’t access anything. How do we fix

Hey Barbara and welcome to planDisney. Sometimes Stitch gets into the Disney computer and it can be very frustrating. Let's get down to business and figure out how to get your accounts linked so your daughter has the appropriate access helping October be the best Disney vacation ever.

When linking accounts there are several different ways and once you and your daughter are linked you will be able to view dining reservations, Lightning Lane entries, and Disney PhotoPass Photos making your experience more organized. For my family, it helps eliminate questions like "what time is dinner?" and "when is our Lightning Lane for TRON Lightcycle / Run?" It is also the best way to use Disney Genie+ Service.

If you accepted her link invitation and it still does not work then follow one or more of these options:

    1. Use a linking code. Here is how to do it. Open your My Disney Experience App. Click on the feature menu (≡) in the lower right corner. Scroll down to "My Profile." Scroll down again to "Show My Linking Code." If your daughter is nearby she can hold her smartphone over the QR Code in the Family & Friends section of "My Profile" in the app. If she is not then you can send her the code (the 7 alphanumeric characters under the QR Code). If you send her the 7-alphanumeric character code she will need to open her My Disney Experience App. Click on the feature menu. Select "My Profile" at the bottom. Choose the "Family & Friends List" on the right side. Scroll down to "Add a Guest". Choose "Scan the linking code". In the center of the screen, she can choose "Manually Enter a Code."

    2. Screenshot your Linking Code and email (not text) it to her so she can scan it on her phone.

    3. Retry Manual entry with an email invite either on the Walt Disney World Resort website on the My Disney Experience App.

    4. If all these attempts still prevent your accounts from linking then please contact "My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+" support at 407-939-4357. I needed to speak with a Cast Member when Stitch got into my account and fortunately, they know how to handle Experiment 626.

planDisney Pro Tip: Technology at Walt Disney World Resort is so advanced. One of my favorite new features is Disney MagicMobile Service. It puts your tickets on your smartphone or smartwatch so you can use those devices to enter the theme parks and Lightning Lane entrances.

Barbara, I hope this information helps fix your digital issue. Please write me back directly with any follow-up questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
