My daughter has a broken arm and we will be going to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios in 3 weeks. Are there any restrictions we should be prepared for and do I need to bring anything from her Doctor?

    Dear Daphne,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about your daughter's injury. First of all, so sorry that she is dealing with that and especially at the time of your upcoming vacation! Not to worry, you will still have a wondEARful time!

Of course, the most important advice to follow in terms of restrictions is your physician's. If your physician has placed restrictions on movement or weight bearing, you should definitely heed that advice! In terms of how Walt Disney World Resort will assist her to maximize her magical vacation, there is a wide variety of support available for guests with temporary disabilities such as what your daughter is dealing with. Rest assured that there will likely be lots of fun experiences that will be open to her and to your family, even with her injury!

You do not need a note from your doctor in order to take advantage of these forms of assistance.

    Have a magical vacation!
