My 11yo daughter just broke her toe! We have a trip planned to WDW in 3 weeks! She's supposed to get her "boot" & splint off in 4 weeks. We bought travel insurance with our package. Would we be able to postpone our trip with no repercussions?

Hi Noelle. I'm so very sorry to hear your daughter broke her toe. I think it's very wise to postpone your visit until she is completely recovered. Please call (407) 939-7675 as soon as possible to speak with a Cast Member that will help you change your travel dates. The change fee for postponing your trip is typically $50 per package. If air travel has been ticketed, you will be responsible for any increase in airfare as well as the change fee assessed by the airline. However, do inquire with your travel insurance company to confirm this information as it is possible these fees are covered by your specific policy.

If you have to completely cancel the reservation, you will be responsible for a $200 cancellation fee, per package, since the cancellation is being made less than 44 days prior to your scheduled arrival. You will also be responsible for any fees assessed by the airline for airfare. In the case of a non-refundable airline ticket, the cancellation fee is equal to the entire ticket price. Cancellation of a refundable airline ticket must be made at least 24 hours prior to scheduled airline departure time. Vacation insurance is non-refundable on cancelled packages.

I'm sending loads of Pixie Dust to your daughter for a swift recovery. We look forward to seeing your family at the Walt Disney World Resort!
