My daughter just broke her foot 1 week before our Disney vacation. Will we be able to rent a wheel chair for her as she has trouble standing and walking with her boot for long periods of time?

    Hi Sarah!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Ironically, I had the exact same thing happen to be right before a Disney trip last year. You definitely can rent a wheelchair for her at any of the Parks at Walt Disney World. Another option is to contact a private company before you arrive to book something. They will deliver the wheelchair or scooter directly to your hotel (it will be waiting for you when you arrive), and they will pick it up after you leave to go home. With a private company, you can keep the same wheelchair for your entire visit (which is nice) rather than going through the process of renting a new chair at a Park every day. Keep in mind that you aren't able to take wheelchairs from Park to Park.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you with your planning.

    Have a magical day!
