My daughter bought a park hopper to use on May 18. We decided to buy annual passes and want to know how we can upgrade her pass before she goes on the 18th.

Welcome to planDisney, Caryn! I'm so pleased to hear that you recently joined the Annual Passholder family and have a whole year of magic ahead of you. If your daughter has an unexpired ticket and wants to put that toward an Annual Pass for herself, there are a couple of ways to do it, and I'm happy to help!

First, you can call the hotline for existing tickets and let them know that you'd like to upgrade your daughter's ticket to an Annual Pass and a friendly Disney Cast Member will help you out over the phone. You can also upgrade in person at a Theme Park ticket window or you can visit the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs if you have time before your park visit. Make sure to do this before she taps into a Theme Park for the first time so her one-day ticket remains unused and unexpired!

Now that your whole family is about to be Annual Passholders, make sure to check out all the perks and benefits that are available to you, like discounts on select dining and merchandise, and special offers on stays at Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, which are available from time to time. I hope that you make the most of your magical year and plan as many visits to Walt Disney World Resort as you have time for!

    Have a magical day, Caryn!
