my 10 yo daughter was born w/ Symbrachydactyly & she is running her 1st runDisney 10k in sept.! My ? is about kid races. Do spots ever open up? We signed up ourselves first, but were sold out once we got back there

    Hi Joseph!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love that your daughter is running the 10K!  I think she would be very inspired by one of my fellow Moms Panelists and good friend, Faith.  Faith was born with amniotic band syndrome.  This is what she says about running at Disney:

"I only have one hand, a factor I've never allowed to hold me back. I'm determined to facilitate in everyone a spirit of dreaming big and overcoming. It's the magical feeling I harbor in my heart of wanting to inspire people to the finish-line that I don't just 'run', I run Disney."

I just know that this will be a magical experience for your Princess!

Unfortunately, Kids Races don't normally open back up after they are sold out.  You should definitely follow runDisney on Facebook (Run Disney) and Twitter (@rundisney) just in case.  I don't foresee any coming open, but you never know!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions before your race weekend.
