My Daughter booked the Poly for a 7 night stay with 6 park days. I will be joining them for 4 nights. The Poly said I would have to be added as a day pass guest in person when we get there and may pay a fee but would not have magic hours. Is this correct?

    Hi Tanya,

Thank you for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Ready to Fall into Magic at Walt Disney World Resort?

When you book a Vacation Package, all Guests receive the same entitlements like Theme Park Tickets and Dining Plan. But some Guests may need to join the rest of their family for only a few days and this is what it seems you are planning on doing. Once you arrive, the lead on the reservation will need to add you as a “Day Guest” for the duration of your stay. This will need to be done at the Front Desk, and note that a fee may apply.

You will still need to get separate Theme Park Tickets and you would not have Dining Plan entitlements. Also, your reservation might not be linked to your My Disney Experience account and hence prevent you from access to Extra Magic Hours.

One last tip: be sure to purchase Theme Park Tickets at least 30 days in advance in order to make FastPass+ reservations. Those on the reservation will be able to make them 60 days before Check-In. Happy planning!
