    My daughter and I will be at the boardwalk from 1/20 to 1/24. Can Disney gift cards be used to pay for lightning lane passes? I don’t see any place in the app to store them. Thank you.

    How exciting that you'll be staying at Disney's BoardWalk Inn. I truly love this area of Walt Disney World Resort. One of my favorite things to do is stroll along Disney's BoardWalk at night. However, the best thing about staying in this area is being so close to the World Showcase entrance to EPCOT. Here's a tip: Take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry and get in line for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. If you time it just right, you'll be able to experience that attraction and then make your way to Frozen Ever After before the crowds pick up. 

    Disney Gift Cards can be used for nearly anything around Walt Disney World, including:
    - Theme Park tickets
    - Disney Resort Collection hotels
    - Enchanting Extras Collection experiences (such as dessert parties, dining packages, and carriage rides, to name a few)
    - Dining
    - Merchandise

    You'll be pleased to know you can also use Disney Gift Cards to purchase Lightning Lane passes. I have done this numerous times. Once you make your selections, select the members of your party, and your arrival window, you'll be taken to the purchase screen. Next, you'll choose your payment method. Note that the default will be the card linked to your account, however, you can easily select to us a different payment option. From there, you'll select "Disney Gift Card" and insert both your card number and EAN number.
