    my daughter birthday on Tuesday 08/30 . let's celebrate in magic kingdom . it is true that birthdays do not pay admission to the park .

    Hi Tomas,

    Birthdays at Walt Disney World are especially magical! That magic was enhanced in 2009 during the "What Will You Celebrate" promotion, in which guests could get free admission on their birthdays.

    The free birthday admission ended on December 31, 2009, but it obviously was one of the most memorable specials in Disney history. All these years later, we still get questions about it from guests like you.

    If you still plan to go to a Disney theme park on your daughter's birthday, make sure you pick up a free Happy Birthday button for her at Guest Relations. When you wear it , it lets cast members and other guests know it's your special day. Your daughter will get lots of birthday wishes and -- sometimes cast member serve up some pixie-dusted extras.
