My daughter has autism and has a hard time with large crowds. Is there somewhere to view fireworks at Magic Kingdom with less people to assist with this?

Hey Howdy Hey Nicole and welcome to planDisney!

I will have to say that there is no better way to end the night in Magic Kingdom than experiencing the nighttime firework show Disney Enchantment! The song and the fireworks displays are so Magical and the projections on the castle are absolutely amazing. It is true that no one does firework shows like Disney and a healthy majority of park-goers will tell you the same on the night of your visit attracting very large crowds. Never fear Nicole, you've got a friend in me to give you a few tips on locations to view the fireworks with smaller crowds. Now let's get this wagon train a-movin' and get you the answers!

If you are looking for a spot so you can view the projections on the front of the castle, I've got two options for you. The first one will cost you nothing other than some time. If you look in front of Casey's Corner or The Plaza Restaurant at the edge of Main Street U.S.A before you get to the Rose Gardens, there are tables set outside you can enjoy a meal or snack. This is also a prime location for a sitting spot with room to view Cinderella Castle for the fireworks. You need to get there pretty early, maybe up to 2 hours early, to get your desired spot but it is there. You can also look into a dessert party through Disney Enchanting Extras Collection. Here you will be able to enjoy a relaxing evening with desserts and drinks and a private viewing area in the Rose Gardens for those attending the party. We did this last trip and had an amazing time with plenty of room to move around with our 3 kids. These areas in the front of the Castle are areas with lower crowds but still have quite a lot of people around. Let's go over some more exclusive places to see them with even fewer people.

Farther off the beaten path but still with good views of the fireworks are in lands close to the Castle. Tomorrowland will allow you to view the fireworks and see parts of the castle but will still be surrounded by the music as this plays throughout the park. You might also get to see a special flight from Tinker Bell at some point!

Now my absolute favorite place to view the fireworks is in Fantasyland. You can grab a spot in front of Dumbo The Flying Elephant or in the area close to Prince Charming's Regal Carrousel. In these areas, you are fully consumed by the fireworks! You will see them happening above the castle as well as far off in the distance from Fantasyland with plenty of room to move around with very few people in the area. You will also get to any attractions you may want to experience in Fantasyland after the fireworks to double dip on the experience with reduced crowds!

I hope this information was helpful in planning out a few locations and options for viewing the fireworks with reduced crowds. Please feel free to stop back and let us know if you have any further questions, we would be happy to help!

    Ride like the wind,
