Teens Taking Selfie with Donald Duck

My daughter is attending/living in the dorm at CSU Northridge, CA. She purchased the SoCal 3-day Disney ticket, but her Drivers License has her address here in Northern CA. What other forms of ID/proof of residency for SoCal can she use? Bills/College?

Hey there, Catherine, and welcome to planDisney!

I was excited to see the return of the California Resident Ticket Offer for this summer! It's a great option for those living near the Disneyland Resort. In the "Important Details" section of the Special Offer page, it says that a "valid government-issued photo ID showing an address within a valid ZIP code is required for entry into the park."

This would mean your daughter would need to show a Driver's License or U.S. Passport that has the address within the eligible ZIP codes for this offer (90000 to 96199). If she doesn't plan on updating her government-issued photo IDs then she would not be able to take advantage of these tickets, and would instead need to utilize the standard theme park tickets or purchase a Magic Key Pass when they become available.

She should be able to reach out to a Cast Member at the Tickets line to upgrade her ticket to a standard ticket if she decides not to update her Driver's License address and just simply pay the difference. Whichever way you all decide to go, I hope that helps!

Thank you again for the question, Catherine!

    Have a Magical Day,
