    My daughter will be attending college in Orlando, this August 2012, is there any discount if I purchase an annual pass, with my Disney credit card or if my husband (her step father) is a member of Disney Vacation Club?

    This is a great question!

    I highly recommend that your husband purchase annual passes for the family using his Disney Vacation Club Member discount...it's a significant savings.

    Disney Vacation Club Members can purchase discounted Annual Passes for any immediate family member who resides in the same house as he or she does, either by calling Member Services at 800-800-9800, or by going online to the Walt Disney World Ticket Store.  To get to the discounted link, go to dvcmember.com, login and click on "Member Privileges." Next, select "Member Perks", then  "WDW Resort Savings" "WDW Annual Pass Savings."  Today, the savings for an adult Annual Pass is $100; the Premium Annual Pass savings is $125! (The Premium Annual Pass entitles Guests to entrance into the four main parks as well as the water parks, DisneyQuest Interactive Indoor Theme Park and more.) Guests can also purchase these discounted passes at any Guest Relations window in all four WDW parks as well as at Downtown Disney.

    Giving your daughter the keys to the Kingdom, at such a significant savings, will be one way you'll know that she has a place to call "home" when she's feeling a little homesick. :-) She can think of each visit as a hug from Mom and Dad!
