Our daughter is attending college near Disney and will be joining us at the Parks but not staying with us. We have a Resort package with tickets and she has separate tickets. We will all be able to book LL together? She is linked on our Disney EXP. Thanks!

Greetings from a fellow Buckeye, Coleen!

It's so nice to see you back at planDisney –– thanks for stopping by with your question. How cool is it that your daughter is only a short drive away from Walt Disney World Resort?! Now, you'll get to visit her and The Most Magical Place on Earth all at once!

One of the things I love most about the My Disney Experience mobile app is how easy and convenient it is to connect your travel party, even if you won't be staying in the same room or onsite together.  Because of this, you won't have to worry about making your plans separately –– as long as you've connected your daughter's account to your Friends & Family List, each person has valid theme park admission, and you've made your Disney Park Pass reservations for the same park each day, you shouldn't have any trouble making your Disney Genie Lightning Lane selections together.  Just be sure that you select each member of your party from the list when you go to book your attraction and you'll be able to confirm everyone together as a group.  However, if you have any trouble with booking, remember that you can always stop by any Walt Disney World Guest Relations location and a Cast Member will be happy to help you troubleshoot the issue.

Aside from making your Genie+ Lightning Lane selections (which you won't be able to do until you arrive), there's another important item coming up on your planning to-do list –– making your advance dining reservations.  Remember, as a Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guest, you'll be able to book reservations for your entire length of stay beginning 60 days before check-in (up to 10 days).  That means if you'll be arriving at your Resort on September 2nd, you'll be able to start making reservations for your visit on July 4th (talk about a great way to celebrate the 4th, huh?!).  So, go ahead and mark that date on your calendar –– believe me, you won't want to miss it!

I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with another question.  If you think of anything new before you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, please don't hesitate to visit us again –– we're always here to help!
