My daughter will be around 6 months old in December 2017 when we are planning to travel; will she need a ticket into the parks?

    Hi Jessica,

My daughter was just two months old on her first visit to Walt Disney World, and now almost 20 years later, she loves the thought that she has been a Disney girl her whole life. So here's wishing your daughter many years of those same happy memories.

Children younger than 3 do not need a ticket for the Walt Disney World theme park and are admitted free. They also eat free when they share from your plate or if you dine at an all-your-care-to-eat restaurant.

One of the fabulous things about a Walt Disney World vacation is that there's something for everyone, no matter your age. I think you'll find this guide useful that gives tips for visiting with little ones. It includes a list of the rides and attractions that all members of the family can enjoy.

You'll also want to know about the Baby Care Centers in each park and about Rider Switch, which allows you to take turns riding attractions that aren't appropriate for the baby.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica. Please let us know if you have any other questions about planning your little princess's first visit. Enjoy!
