    Hello, My daughter and I along with my parents are sailing on the Disney Dream Ship on January 30th. This is the first Disney Cruise for us. We are all excited. I am wondering if we need to bring our own beach towels for when we are at Castaway Cay.

    You are so fortunate to be of the first to sail on Disney's Dream! After just returning from her christening cruise, I can report that she is both stylish and spectacular! You're not going to want to wake from this Dream!

    As far as towels, you can leave yours at home and save that room in your suitcases. For ports of call, stateroom hosts/hostesses will leave a mesh bag in your room complete with towels for you to use. Yet, one of my favorite souvenirs from a Disney cruise is a beach towel. Therefore, I usually pick up one in the gift shops on board (before the ship reaches port) or once we're on Castaway Cay. These are exclusive to these shops, and I love remembering my days aboard or on the island when I'm at home.
