Hi Susan,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
I’m sure both your daughter and the grandkids are really looking forward to their vacation later this fall! November is a great time to be at the Walt Disney World Resort because the weather is beginning to cool off and, of course, they’ll be able to enjoy all the
Christmas and holiday activities around the Resort!
Since it will just be the three of them, I suggest that they all stay together in the lines while waiting for attractions. From my past experience, when they get close to the front of the ride, have your daughter mention to the Cast Members your older grandchild won’t be riding and would like to wait at the exit or picture viewing location for the ride. The Cast Member will then escort them to the exit of the ride. As soon as your daughter and younger grandchild step off the ride, they’ll be very close to where your older grandchild is waiting!
Now, if your family is using
Disney Genie+ Service, when your daughter is making those
Lightning Lane reservations, encourage her to make reservations for all three of them. This way your older grandchild will be able to go through the Lightning Lane with them for those thrill rides and will wait at the exit as I detailed above.
Finally, have your family select a meeting place for all the rides they aren’t going on together, just in case. A great place would be the themed stores that are typically at the end of the rides. This is typically where the exit of the ride will be and where your grandchild would be standing anyway. If they can have a phone or some sort of way to communicate with their mom and sibling that’d be great as well!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as your family begins to plan for an amazing vacation later this year. If you have other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
