Happiest Greetings on Earth, Rob! I'm so glad you brought us this question and it is a genuine pleasure to help get you some answers today.
Disneyland Resort was meant for ALL dreamers and your daughter is absolutely welcome to bring her folding walking cane into the theme parks, so long as it meets all other park rules and regulations. You can view the
list of prohibited items on the
Disneyland Resort Rules and Regulations page which has some specific guidance around cane-chairs (which are also permitted). But, there is nothing in the rules that specifically prohibits a standard folding or collapsible walking cane. I do like to remind Guests that while all items are subject to screening at security, Cast Members are accustomed to helping Guests who use mobility aids and ensuring you have a safe and wonderful visit to 'The Happiest Place on Earth.' I also want to share this helpful resource about
mobility considerations and services for Guests with mobility disabilities in case it proves helpful to you as you and your family continue to make your plans.
Rob, I sure hope this is some helpful advice. I see you'll be visiting during
Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort, so be sure to check out the latest
Foodie Guide for the list of the most spine-chilling eats and treats. My favorites for the Halloween season are the Vampire Alien Macaron from
Alien Pizza Planet and the seasonal Coffee and Donut Churro in Disney California Adventure Park. If we can share other recommendations now or anytime in the future, please feel welcome to
send us another question!
Wishing you a
grim, grinning, good time!
