My daughter is allergic to chocolate. Are there other snacks in the parks that are not chocolate related? Thank you so much for the information. I always enjoy reading all of the questions and answers.

Hello Alycia!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Snacks are in such large supply at Walt Disney World.  Everywhere you look you are going to be able to find great options for your daughter.

My favorite snack at Walt Disney World is a Dole Whip Float.  You can find the Dole Whip Float at Aloha Isle in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom.  A Dole Whip Float is a pineapple soft serve ice cream topped with pineapple juice.  I like to order mine with a pineapple and vanilla swirl and then topped with the juice. I find the addition to vanilla really cuts some of the sweetness.  Yum.  I also suggest checking out the Carrot Cake Cookie at the Writer's Stop at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  A Carrot Cake Cookie is two large, super soft cookies with a big swirl of cream cheese icing sandwiched in the middle.  I normally enjoy two a day!  Other options your daughter will be able to enjoy are treats from carts like popcorn, churros, candied nuts, Mickey pretzels and cotton candy.  You will also be able to find non chocolate ice cream options at all of the ice cream locations and even a fruity popsicle.  At the candy stores, there are a variety of fruit and gummy options to choose from.  Frozen Cokes and Goofy Glaciers (a fruity slushy drink) are great options for non chocolate eaters too.  You can find Goofy's Glaciers at Goofy's Candy Company at Downtown Disney.

Your daughter is going to have so many snack options to choose from, she is going to have a great time trying to decide.  As a mother, I am sure you are going to be very happy with the options as well and the fact she isn't going to be very limited.  I hope you all have a wonderful vacation.  If I can help you with anything else, please feel free to let me know.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
