Mom And Son On Run

My daughter age 27 uses a motorized wheelchair and will be bringing her service dog. Any advice, warnings, suggestions, or experiences to share? We are visiting Disneyworld Jan 30-Feb 6 2009. We are five adults and two children (ages 3 and 6).

This sounds like an exciting trip for you and your family!  Check out the Disney web site page discussing disabilities.  It is a great overview of the facilities available, dealing with attractions as well as a section about service dogs. I would also suggest you call the resort you will be staying at to discuss any needs you might feel you will need during your stay there.

Enjoy your visit.  Take lots of pictures!
