Tricia from MD Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My daughter has ADHD and an anxiety disorder. Are there any accommodations available for her at the parks in WDW?

Greetings, Tricia and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I’m so happy to hear you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort with your daughter. Great strides are taken to afford all Guests an inclusive and enjoyable experience, rest assured. Cast Members who are highly visible, are friendly, accommodating and ready to help you where possible.

May I offer Disney’s Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities, which may have an accommodation of benefit to your daughter? In particular, I am thinking that Disney’s Disability Access Service (DAS) may help your daughter. Please visit any Theme Park Guest Relations, together with your daughter and travel party, to consult with a Cast Member who will be able to determine the best accommodations for your daughter. If the (DAS) is suggested, please note that it can be utilized with FastPass+ service to optimize your experiences.

I, for my son, find that visiting any Theme Park First Aid and/or Baby Care Center is also helpful in that it provides him a place to unwind and take a short break.

Best Disney wishes for an enjoyable visit, Tricia, we would be honored to assist you again soon with your Disney Vacation planning.
