Hello, what are the dates for this years Disneyland Candlelight Processional at Disneyland Ca be?

Greetings, Kimberly, and welcome to planDisney!

The Disneyland Candlelight Processional is scheduled for Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7 this year. This event typically has seating for specially invited Guests, but there is limited space on the other side of the ropes where other park Guests can watch it. The Town Square area will likely be very busy around the event times, and Guests will arrive quite early to find a spot to stand.

It is an incredible sight, though, set up in front of the Main Street, U.S.A. train station. I can picture the glowing candlelights and imagine the beautiful music of the orchestra and choir. You may also see members of the choir making their way down Main Street, U.S.A. just before the performance.

There's a lot more fun to be had at the Disneyland Resort this holiday season. Here are some of my favorite experiences that you can look forward to:

    • A Christmas Fantasy Parade will leave you with that warm holiday feeling. There are marching toy soldiers, Disney Characters, and dancing reindeer. Even Santa Claus makes an appearance! There are typically two shows per day.
    • The "Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular always brings tears to my eyes. There's nothing quite like when "snow" falls as part of the show. For this reason, make sure to watch it from in front of "it's a small world," on parts of Main Street, U.S.A., or along the Rivers of America.
    • Fantasyland Theatre is home to holiday fun for a good portion of the day. Head here for a chance to meet Santa and Disney friends, watch animated holiday shorts, listen to music or storytime, take photos, and more.
    • I love being at "it's a small world" when it first illuminates for the evening. According to the Hours & Events Calendar, it will happen at 5 p.m. (subject to change). Stop by to see it if you're in the area!
    • The Disney Festival of Holidays over at California Adventure is also really fun. You can expect multicultural performances, a food marketplace, atmosphere entertainment, and even another opportunity to meet Santa.
Kimberly, since you're interested in the Disneyland Candlelight Processional, I think you'd enjoy an article on the Disney Parks Blog about the 2023 event – it's very heartwarming! If you have any other questions, Kimberly, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
