Welcome to planDisney, Angie! The Most Magical Place on Earth usually welcomes thousands of cheerleaders to compete at events in January and February, and as a cheer mom myself, it's an exciting time to watch my daughter and her team prepare and compete for a bid to participate in the upcoming events at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Angie, currently, there aren't any cheer or dance events listed on the
events page for
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, but I'm happy to share what I've been able to find out:
- January 30 - February 1: Varsity Spirit DII National School Spirit Championship
- February 6 - February 8: Varsity Spirit DI National School Spirit Championship
- January 16 - January 18: Varsity Spirit UDA and UCA College Nationals
Keep in mind, Angie, that there may be other events during these months; the best way to keep up-to-date is to check the events page for the venue online.
