What are the dates for the skyliner maintenance?

Greetings, Annaliese. Thanks for swinging like Tarzan over to planDisney. The Disney Skyliner is my favorite mode of transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort so I was happy to see your question!

Annaliese, there is currently no official word on the Skyliner maintenance dates. However, for the last several years it's begun in the middle of January, right after Walt Disney World Marathon weekend, and lasted about a week and a half. The 2025 WDW Marathon is January 8-12, so I imagine the closure would happen shortly after the 12th. Keep an eye on the Walt Disney World Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog for upcoming announcements, as one could be coming soon.

While there is nothing like an aerial view while arriving at EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios, there are plenty of transportation options throughout the resort. My pal Susan loves the Monorail, and the intricate network of buses, boats, and ferries can always get you where you need to go! With the My Disney Experience Mobile App, you can use the map feature to select your destination and "Get Directions" to get the best options for your next magical location.

I'm sorry there isn't a definitive answer to your question right now, Annaliese. Hopefully, some of the information provided helps. Please let us know if you have any other planning questions. We'd be happy to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Melissa
