    When will the dates be released for next years Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend?

    Hi Katherine! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I'm happy to tell you that runDisney has announced that the 2019 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend will take place January 9-13, 2019. If you are planning to participate in any events of the weekend, registration opens April 17, 2018 at noon (ET).

    Having raced my way through Walt Disney World Resort property during marathon weekend myself, I can tell you from experience it is a super fun weekend! Make sure to invest in good running shoes AND comfortable shoes for walking around the theme parks after the races.
