Kevin from AZ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

When will dates for 2026 be released for Disneyland and DCA? Usually they are out by now, and I have scoured the internet for reasons why they are delayed. Can you tell us why they are being delayed as well? Thank you so much!

Hiya, Kevin! I’m sending you a great big welcome to planDisney!

It looks like you're eager to get a jump start on planning for your February 2026 visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, and I don't blame you one bit! Half the fun of a Disneyland Resort vacation is planning all the magical details, and you've definitely come to the right place for answers.

You mentioned scouring the internet for reasons why dates might be delayed, and I totally get that feeling of anticipation when you're so excited for an upcoming trip that time just seems to stretch! It's like waiting for a parade to start when you're already in your spot on Main Street, U.S.A.! The great news is that for both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, theme park reservations typically open up on a rolling basis, 180 days in advance. That gives you nearly half a year to get everything locked in and plenty of time to daydream about all the fun you'll have! So, while it might feel like a delay because you're so ready to plan, it's actually right on schedule for that 180-day window.

Since your trip is coming up in February 2026, you'll have just a few more weeks to wait until you reach that exciting 180-day mark. I think that date will call for its own celebration—don't you agree?! Be sure to mark your calendar! Once you're within that window, you should be able to go ahead and purchase your tickets and make those all-important park reservations.

To make your visit even smoother once you arrive, I'd highly recommend downloading the Disneyland mobile app before your trip. It's truly your essential park companion! You can use it to check attractions wait times, view park maps, mobile order food and beverages from many dining locations (a huge time-saver!), link your tickets, manage your park reservations, and even utilize Lightning Lane Multi Pass if you choose to add it. It really helps you navigate the parks like a pro!

Now, Kevin, here's something else that's super exciting for your upcoming visit! We do know that the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will be running through at least the summer of 2026. So, if experiencing that special milestone is on your wish list, you'll be in luck! This once-in-a-lifetime celebration promises vibrant entertainment, special décor throughout the resort, new and limited-time food and beverage offerings, unique merchandise, and even special touches on beloved attractions. Imagine seeing the resort adorned in its sparkling 70th Celebration finest—it's going to be a truly unforgettable experience!

I know how exciting it is to plan a Disneyland Resort vacation, Kevin, and I hope this helps clarify when you can officially secure those plans for your visit! Get ready for a wonderful trip filled with the dazzling magic of the 70th Celebration. I simply can't wait for you to experience it all!

    Wishing you pixie-dusted planning!
