When do the 2024 dates open for vacation planning?

Hi Patricia! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

It sounds like you're getting ready to plan a visit to Disneyland Resort. I'm an eager planner too, so I can appreciate that you're wanting to get those dates locked down. It's still too early, but I can let you know when to start looking.

First, if you're interested in purchasing admission tickets, you'll also need a theme park reservation. Currently, these operate on a 120-day rolling window. So, take a look at the calendar, select your preferred dates for your trip, and calculate back 120 days. That's when you'll want to purchase your tickets. You can set an alarm for yourself on your mobile device if you want to book on the very first day it opens!

But if you're interested in a Vacation Package for 2024, I suspect those might become available towards the end of this summer. Keep an eye on the availability calendar, because I don't have Madame Leota's crystal ball, so I don't know when they'll be released precisely. But these packages do offer Guests great value and perks. Guests of Disneyland Resort Hotels enjoy Early Entry, which my family really appreciates.

Finally, since you're hoping to visit during Halloween, I want to encourage you to follow the Disney Parks Blog. They're the official source for all the updates on what festive experiences you can enjoy when your trip is getting closer. I expect you'll enjoy magical décor, treats, merchandise, entertainment, and probably Haunted Mansion Holiday, which is my must-do for the season.

    Have a spooky time!
