When will 2026 dates open for planning?

    Hi Lattrice,

Welcome back to planDisney—and thank you for continuing to trust us with your planning questions! When work isn’t feeling quite so magical, I always find joy in dreaming up my next Disney adventure. So I completely understand the excitement (and the need!) to start planning your next trip.

Vacation packages and hotel reservations are currently available to book through the end of 2025. As of today, I was able to search for check-in dates all the way through December 31, 2025, with check-out dates extending to January 8, 2026. While there’s no official release date for 2026 bookings just yet, we don’t need a magic mirror to make a prediction—we can look to the past! Historically, vacation packages for the following year are released in late May or early June, so hopefully that announcement is just around the riverbend.

Lattrice, did you know that Disneyland's 70th Anniversary celebration begins on May 16, 2025, and will continue through summer 2026? There will be a short pause during the holidays, but the celebration will return after the season wraps up. You can use the 2025 events calendar to help estimate the perfect time to visit in 2026. It might be especially magical to plan a trip when the 70th Anniversary decorations return and enjoy one of the incredible festivals at California Adventure. This will help you get the most magic out of your vacation.

Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates on events, booking windows, and all the dazzling details coming to the Disneyland Resort.

I hope this helps, Lattrice! If you have any more questions or want more planning tips, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We're always here to add a little pixi dust magic to your planning journey.

    Happy planning!
