Hello Disney Fan! I can understand your excitement about planning your next visit! 2027 is going to be a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!
Walt Disney himself would be proud because there are several new experiences being prepared for 2027! Disney World has announced the new
Tropical Americas at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This area is set to feature an Encanto-themed ride and, the attraction I’m most excited for, an Indiana Jones-themed ride! I’ve got my bullwhip and fedora ready for an adventure with Dr. Jones!
While Mickey and Minnie aren’t quite ready to open bookings for 2027, we can speculate when reservations might be accepted based on the past. My best guess is that reservations for 2027 will open in early spring 2026. When reservations opened for 2026 bookings (in April 2025), Guests were able to book for visits through October 31, 2026. Reservations for November and December 2026 opened a bit later in 2025.
I recommend checking both the
Walt Disney World Resort website as well as the
Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information regarding when hotel reservations will be available to book.
Even though it’s January 2026, let’s start our countdown to Walt Disney World 2027!
