If the dates are not available to chose for making a reservation. Does that mean that there are no reservations available for that day? For like character dining

Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Livia. We're so glad you're here to ask this question. It sounds like planning is in full swing for your magical adventure and I'm here to help out.

Sitting down for a character meal is a great way to add a little magic to mealtime. It's also a great way for everyone to see so many characters without having to leave your table. It sounds like you might be interested in booking dining reservations at Storytellers Cafe or Goofy's Kitchen. Both of these locations are offering some extra magical holiday offerings for dates beginning November 19th. Reservations for Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party breakfast and brunch at Storytellers Cafe were released last week and they have been extremely popular. If you don't see any times listed for the day that you are searching for, there unfortunately is no availability. I don't believe reservations for “Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays!” have opened up quite yet so you may want to keep checking back for availability. If reservations have not been released yet, I recommend checking at 6:00 a.m. Pacific Time for your best chance at grabbing one.

Don't let any of this dismay you. I recommend continuing to check for reservations before your trip. Guests' plans change all the time and you never know when you could see availability open up. There have been times when I've checked for a dining reservation on the day of my visit and found availability for my desired location. You just never know when the pixie dust will find you. There's also a character breakfast option inside Disneyland Park at the Plaza Inn. Keep in mind that “Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park" is only available during breakfast times and you will need a valid theme park ticket and theme park reservation for this particular location.

Livia, while this might not be the answer you were hoping for, I hope that the information I shared is still helpful. Please come back to visit us with any other questions you might be curious about. I'll be wishing on a star in the hopes that you secure that dining reservation you're looking for. Here's wishing you a most magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
