What dates does MK typically have Independence Day fireworks instead of Happily Ever After?

    Hi Aimee,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I happen to think Walt Disney World takes the idea of the nighttime spectacular to a whole new level of sky-bursting awesomeness with Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom Park, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot, and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular and Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The Fourth of July holiday nighttime spectaculars are no exception and stand out as my favorite fireworks. “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” is such an amazing show, and this year I tuned in to  the Disney Parks Blog to enjoy a live stream of the show. I admit that watching from home wasn't the same at all as watching up close and in person, but it was still really exciting to see. Typically, the Celebrate America! fireworks spectacular is scheduled for July 3 and July 4. While next year's schedule is not yet available and keeping in mind that entertainment schedules can change, I hope this gives you some idea of what might be possible. I suggest following the Disney Parks Blog for updates on all on magic that awaits you.

Aimee, here's wishing you a fantastic Walt Disney World vacation!

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
