When do the dates for the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party get released?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tammy!

It's always fun in January to think about the adventures that lie ahead for the year. Isn't it? It sounds like you are thinking about attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in 2018. What a fun event! Have you given any thought to what costume you may wear? A few years ago, I attended the party with my dear Disney Parks Moms Panel friend, Lynn. She and her husband dressed up as two of the hitchhiking ghosts from the Haunted Mansion. They looked amazing! Costumes are certainly not required, but it is fun to see the creativity of Disney guests on display at the event.

Although we aren't sure when the 2018 Halloween party dates will go public, I suspect that the release date will be similar to the 2017 release date. If that is the case, I suggest you watch the Disney Parks Blog in early April. The first Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in 2017 took place on August 25th and the final event was November 1st. Hopefully, this information will help you with your planning. I do hope you get to attend the party in 2018. Be sure to look for the Headless Horseman and gravediggers during Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade. That parade is definitely not to be missed!

Let us know if you need any additional information as you set your plans for a fall escape to Walt Disney World Resort in 2018. We'd love to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
