When will the dates for March, 2018 resort and villa reservations be open?

    Hi Erika,

It sounds like you prefer to book your Disney vacations as far in advance as possible - just like me! Once I have decided on a date, I like to have all my reservations finalized, officially starting the countdown on my Disney vacation calendar.

If you are booking your Walt Disney World Resort accommodations using Disney Vacation Club points, you will be able to book your "Home" Resort as early as 11 months in advance, or 7 months in advance for any other Disney Vacation Club Resort.

However, if you are intending to book a regular cash reservation at any of the wonderful Walt Disney World Resort hotels, or a vacation package with park tickets and dining, you will have to wait a little longer until room rates and vacation package details come out for 2018. Typically these rates tend to be released over the summer for the following calendar year.

Unless you are trying to book one of the special Suites or Grand Villas with limited availability,  you should be fine waiting until the 2018 room rate and vacation package details get released in a few months. However, if you are anxious to secure a room reservation for your trip, you still have the option of calling Disney Reservations at (407) 939-1936 and booking a "room only" reservation up to 499 days in advance. While pricing on your reservation will not be confirmed until the 2018 room rates get released later this year, you will at least be able to secure a room in advance if you wish. Once room rates and vacation package details get released for 2018, you would then have the option of converting your reservation to a vacation package with park tickets and dining if desired.

Erika, I hope this information is helpful as you continue to countdown to your trip. Should you have any other questions, please send them our way. We would love to hEAR from you again!

    Magically Yours,

    Trish
