Hi Melanie, welcome to planDisney!
Kudos to you for exploring all your options! You can certainly use two separate single-day
theme park tickets on consecutive days. You will just need to book two separate
reservations for each of your tickets. However, if you decide to purchase the park hopper add-on, it would impact your total cost. Currently, the park hopper add-on costs $60 per ticket (prices subject to change). It is a one-time fee, and if you purchase a multi-day ticket, you would just pay the $60 fee (prices subject to change) once, and the park hopper feature would get added to all of your ticket days! However, if you purchase two separate single-day tickets, and you wanted the park hopper feature on both tickets, you would need to pay the $60 fee (prices subject to change) twice.
Also, I do want to make you aware of an
important announcement that was posted on the Disney Parks Blog! The
Main Street Electrical Parade and
Disneyland Forever fireworks will be ending their limited-time runs on September 1, 2022. Both of these nighttime experiences are amazing, which I can confidently say with firsthand experience! If you're able to visit the Disneyland Resort before then, I highly recommend it!
Thanks again for stopping by!
See ya real soon!
