What are the dates of the Easter season for 2025? We are going near the end of April and wondering of we’ll still be able to enjoy some of the Easter season. Thanks!

Hiya, Shannon! Thanks for hopping on over to planDisney with your question!

Spring is egg-sactly the right time to visit the Disneyland Resort! The sun shines brightly, the days become a little longer, and the flowers are in bloom all around the resort. (But let’s be honest—when are the flowers not in bloom at Disneyland?!). Springtime is simply a magical time to visit, with pastel colors popping and the feeling of a fresh, new season all around!

We all know Disney loves a celebration, and holidays are no exception. While we don't want to count our eggs before they hatch, I’d expect to see the Easter festivities kick off a couple of weeks before the holiday and stick around for a week or two after that. While the official calendar isn't out yet, we can “hop” that the Easter festivities will still be in full swing during your late April visit since Easter is on Sunday, April 20th this year!

I had the pleasure of spending some time at the Disneyland Resort last year during the Easter season. I loved seeing all of the pastel colors, and I got a kick out of watching the kiddos (and adults!) search for Easter eggs during the Eggstravaganza event. I even spotted a festive Pluto Easter egg myself last year in the Downtown Disney District—but I can’t tell you exactly where I found it! And guess what? I just hopped over to the website, and it looks like Eggstravaganza will be back this year! Get ready to join the hunt, Shannon!

You’ll also want to keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog. Last year, they released a mouthwatering Foodie Guide highlighting all the Easter goodies around the resort, and I bet they'll do the same this year! You can also get the inside scoop by following @Disneyland on Instagram. They often share sneak peeks of exciting things to come. And, speaking of sneak peeks, the Lunar New Year celebration is happening right now at Disney California Adventure Park! Here’s the Foodie Guide for the event so you can see what you might expect if another guide is released for Easter!

I'm personally “hopping” for the return of those incredible chocolate Easter eggs from Candy Palace! They were a huge hit last year, and for good reason! Disneyland introduced two flavor options last year, and Guests gobbled them right up!

And “somebunny” also told me that even Mr. Easter Bunny himself likes to make an appearance from time to time. You might just catch him posing for photos and spreading Easter cheer on Main Street, U.S.A.!

With so many egg-cellent treats, fun activities, and springtime magic, your visit to Disneyland Resort is sure to be unforgettable, Shannon! Let the magic bloom!
