What are the dates for Disneyland park run Disney races and when does registration open?

Hi there, Annie! Thanks for racing over to ask us your question.

There are two upcoming runDisney events scheduled for the Disneyland Resort - the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend (September 5-8, 2024) and the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend (January 30-February 2, 2025). Annie, general registration for the Halloween Half Marathon weekend opened on February 13, 2024, and all of the events are currently sold out. General registration for the 2025 Disneyland Half Marathon weekend opens June 18, 2024 - so be sure to set your alarm because most races fill up quickly!

If you have your heart set on the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon, it may be possible to secure a bib through one of the participating charities listed on the runDisney website for the race. Unlike registering for the race directly, these charities have a limited number of bibs available for those who wish to fundraise for their cause. For more information, contact the charities directly to see if they have bibs available and what the details of their process are. This wonderful option means that you would not only get to participate in a runDisney race but you would be fundraising for a good cause!

Occasionally, runDisney will reopen some of the races for registration on a rolling basis. It is not guaranteed but may help you secure a bib. Certain social media accounts track these openings and may help you grab that coveted race registration if you sign up for their notifications. Please note that while registration openings may occur between now and race day, they sell out just as quickly as the initial runDisney registration.

To take a look at all of the scheduled runDisney events, including the runDisney Virtual Series, visit runDisney.com for more information! Also, I recommend following the runDisney Instagram and the runDisney Facebook page, as they have important event information and medal reveals as race day gets closer.

Annie, planDisney just released a "Beginner’s Guide to runDisney" podcast that I think you will enjoy. You can listen on your favorite streaming platform or find it on YouTube. I hope this information helps, Annie. I can't wait to see you on the race course!
