    What dates will the Deluxe Resorts at Walt Disney World be putting up Christmas decorations this year?

    Hello Nancy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    There is nothing quite like Christmas at Walt Disney World Resort to get excited about the holiday season. Whether you go all-in with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party or partake in the festive decorations and activities at Disney Resort Hotels and Disney Springs, you will find the spirit of Christmas in abundance.

    As far as decorations are concerned, Magic Kingdom has several videos online dating back to about 10 years ago when they posted on the Disney Parks Blog of the magical transformation from the Halloween decorations on October 31st after the final Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Special Event to the full Christmas makeover for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party by November 1st.

    While not as immediate, Disney Springs and Resort Hotels at Walt Disney World Resort begin their transformations within the ensuing weeks to be fully on display by the Thanksgiving holiday.

    If you are looking to experience the magical displays found at Deluxe Resorts such as the life-sized Gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you will be looking to visit around that time. While they may be put up earlier than Thanksgiving, in my experience it is not until Thanksgiving that Christmas is in full swing on Walt Disney World Resort property.
