When will the dates for the beginning of 2026 open to make reservations? Particularly February.

    Hiya, Christopher! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! How exciting that you’re already dreaming up a visit to the Disneyland Resort in 2026! It’s never too early to let the magic begin.

Here’s the great news: theme park reservations for standard tickets open 180 days in advance. Since your trip is planned for February, you’re already well within that window! That means you can go ahead and reserve most of your February dates right now—except for the last few days of the month, which will become available one day at a time as you get closer. It’s a little like watching the calendar sprinkle pixie dust across the days, opening up new adventures each morning.

If you happen to be a Magic Key holder, the reservation timeline is a bit different—Magic Key passes allow you to book up to 90 days in advance. It sounds like you may have standard tickets, but I wanted to mention it just in case!

And, Christopher, if you’re also hoping to stay at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels, here’s some even more magical news: hotel reservations are already open through the end of 2026! So, whether you dream of the classic charm of the Disneyland Hotel, the Craftsman elegance of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, or the playful, story-filled setting of Pixar Place Hotel, you can go ahead and book your stay today.

Last but not least, I'd love to share a couple of pro tips to help make your planning even smoother: dining reservations open 60 days in advance, so you can align your park reservations with your dining dreams at popular spots like Blue Bayou or Lamplight Lounge. And since February weather in Anaheim can bring both sunshine and chilly evenings, layering clothes is the best way to stay comfortable from rope drop (park opening) to the fireworks.

So, Christopher, you’re right on track! I recommend hopping onto the Disneyland website or mobile app soon to secure those dates. That way, you’ll have the peace of mind knowing your February adventure is already booked, and you can spend the rest of your countdown dreaming about churros, fireworks, and maybe even a high-five from Mickey himself.

Wishing you a magical start to 2026 filled with memories that will last a lifetime!
