Are there going to be dates available for Walt's MainStreet Tour in April? We are visiting 18 to 23 and we're looking forward to this tour! Please help.

Hiya, Janet! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing us your question. I’m happy to help!

You’re trip to Disneyland Resort is so close [Cue excited screaming]! Before you know it, you’ll be venturing down jungle rivers, exploring far away galaxies, and soaring to great heights. Or maybe you’re looking for a more relaxed day filled with Mickey-shaped treats. Or maybe a combination of both! Whatever type of Disney journey you’re looking for, Disneyland is your land.

I took a look at the reservation calendar for Walt’s Main Street Story Tour, and it appears that it is bookable through March 31, 2025, and that the calendar is all greyed out for April and May. I talked with a helpful Cast Member and they confirmed that it’s not that the tour is sold out, but rather there aren’t any scheduled tours at this time. They suggested guests keep checking the Disneyland website for updates on this tour’s availability, as well as the Disney Parks Blog for announcements. I had the opportunity to go on Walt’s Main Street Story Tour a couple of years ago, and the experience was everything I hoped it would be. Don’t give up hope!

If there are no openings or announcements before your visit and you’d like to add some Disney history to your vacation, I’d suggest looking into the Disneyland Railroad Guided Tour. This tour includes learning about Walt Disney’s love of the railroad and getting to meet a Disneyland train engineer. You also take a ride in Disneyland Railroad’s special Presidential Car, the Lilly Belle. Next stop: fun!

Janet, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning and that Walt’s Main Street Story Tour becomes available in time for your visit. Pop right back to planDisney if you have any other questions!

    Magical travels!
