    Do they have a date set for the 2014 expedition everest yet/. I looks to be perfect for me and my son. Also do you know how crowded the parks get and if it would be better to stay after the race for a couple days or before.

    Hi Rachael!

    The Expedition Everest Challenge is such a great race weekend for families.  The race is typically the first weekend in May.  You can keep checking the runDisney website to find out more information about a 2014 race.

    According to www.touringplans.com, the crowd prediction for the week before the first weekend in May and the week after, are actually pretty similar.  They predict it to be between 3 and 5 out of 10 on a crowd level scale.  Personally, I like to vacation in the days after my race, but you could do whatever works best for your schedule!
